Issues with large chucks

Anyone using large chucks with 2 batteries? Either 3 volt x 2 or 3.7 x 2?
801 HV atomizers?
Anyone had problems with short circuits and switch misfiring?

I need to try and understand why i'm having problems with this set up.

It's still the best vape out there...but sending them back to Jeff all too often, is starting to irritate me.

I use 2x 3.0v LiFePo4's w/ 3.0-3.4Ω cartomizers.

No switch misfires unless I don't press hard enough, after the initial sensitivity period and a few minor mishaps of knocking it over it requires a bit more firm pressure to ensure that I get a fire.

Took me a few days to train myself to get the right pressure without worrying about getting a callous on my thumb lol. Though the cartos may be easier to figure this out with since if it ain't sizzling, it ain't workin.

I am not sure if it was just a coinkydink. A few weeks back it seemed like I wasnt getting a 'fire' so to speak. I worried as I dropped my chuck. Went home, put in some fresh batts and I put some noalox on the inside threads of the battery end (don't put it on the carto end, I read that was a bad thing) blammo, good as new.

But wash your finger afterwards before hitting the button, I didn't, finger kinda tingled. LOL! Again, I am not sure of the what's and whys and it might have just been the batteries but it all worked so I went ahead and did it to the rest of my chucks too.

I have that setup on 2 different Chucks. I had one heat up on me when I first got it 5 months ago and I mean it got HOT. When everything cooled down I checked it over and couldn't find or see anything wrong so I just started using it again and it's been fine. I don't know for sure what caused it but that was the one and only time it happened. I get my HV 801 attys from Nhaler and use the 2 Tenergy 3v batteries.

I have a big Chuck that I vape at 6v, and had the same problem when using 801 HV atomizers. It overheated and just stopped working. I'm talking really hot - I singed my finger on the cap spring. This has never happened with KR808 cartomizers, however. I don't get it? It bums me out a little, because I really liked the HV attys.

I think the HV atty's you refer to are atty's that have had a few minor tweaks by increasing ohms to support 6 volts.

I vape with custom 801's, that we have developed over the course of this past year.
They are completely re-designed from the ground up using different materials.
They are stictly for 8 ~8.5 volts...
6 volts would not even get them mildly warm.

If you decide you want to try one, and want to use two Ultrafire XSL 18350 1200mAH (fully charged output voltage is 8.4 volts) , let me know, and i can send you one.
I do not sell them though...they have been developed for my own pleasure as well as given out to some friends around me.
