Why even have an emgerncy help section if you are going to turn people down. I have a situation that I woukd consider an emergency. Times are hard for ne as I support myself & my wife who has a lot of health problems. I barely make enough money to make rent & that's even with getting 200.00 in foodstamps a month. My wife has bad asthma & can't be around cigarettes. I do everything litterally. I cook, I clean, I do the shopping, I work & all I asked was for a little help & yet I get turned down cause I "don't have an emergency situation". I am trying to quit/cut back in smoking so my wife won't have problems breathing around me after I smoke. All I asked for was to see if they would put a post up in the emergency section to see if anyone out here had a spare e-cig that they wouldn't mind parting with since it would help with my wifes asthma. I would say living with someone with asthma which is life threatning would be considered an emergency. I'm not looking for people to support my habit. I'm not looking for hand outs just a little help for someone that gives so much in life. All I ask is just a little help getting started. Thanks mods! Kharma sucks.

As I told you via pm - The PIF emergency needs is here to help members with unforeseen or emergency circumstances keep vaping - not to get people started. Most of our members are on a limited income themselves and we can't ask them to start providing gear to help others get started. Here is a link to some very inexpensive starter kits - most of them LESS than the cost of 2 packs of cigarettes. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ends-family-get-started-securing-back-up.html

In other words, don't abuse the kindness of PIF. They are a social group with a long history of being helpful to members of the forum. Normally I would have just deleted this thread since it doesn't have anything to do with feedback to ECF (PIF is a member owned SOCIAL GROUP) but I felt it needed to be addressed in the open forum since you could not keep it where it belongs (in PIF).
