Have most of my new DIY stuff in the house, and am ready to start mixing this weekend. Still need to get the Seedmans commercial blend to mix up some Scudadatdan's tobaco juice, but I'm gonna start with what I have now.

Thinking I'm going to try out some non tobbaco flavors first. So with the TPA flavors below, anyone want to make a recipe recommendation for my very first DIY juice?

I suggest downloading Breaktru's calculator, just search the name on here, it will give you his name and from there I believe its in his sig. I like making 6ml samples myself -- what i do is figure out the mg I want to make (9), multiply it by the 6ml, and that means I need 54mg of nic. Since I use 100mg/ml nicjuice, that means I use .5ml of that to get my desired nic level in the juice.:) I like about 20% flavoring and 20% VG so, to cut to the chase, that would be .5nic + 1.2 VG + 1.2 flavor (25 drops/ml so 30 drops total) +3.1 PG for 6 ml - I hope that helps!:thumb:

I really like the banana cream and watermelon from TPA. These are 2 of my staple flavors. I like a strong flavor, so I mix at 20%. YMMV.

I don't worry much about not having the exact flavor or 'brand'. Some recipes may indicate specific flavors must be used, but I try a small batch with what I have and usually it's not an issue. I will also substitute a similar flavor to what the recipe calls for. That too usually hasn't been a problem.

+1 I've certainly substituted different brands and sometimes similar flavors in a recipe and gotten good results. Its a lot like cooking that way.

this is always in one of my PVs: Tobacco Blend / hazelnut with just a splash of DK Tobacco about 12% flavoring I'm not big on messurments but it always comes out good

That blend looks like it should come close to a 555 flavor. I do need to come up with a 555 blend. Especially for the wife since 555 is all she vapes.

Can't believe I haven't even had a chance to open a bottle over the weekend, but I do have my "lab" in place and organized now.

no hazelnut isn't the right nut I've been trying to replicate 555 for about 7 months and haven't even come close I think the flavor I'm tasting in chineese 555 is peanut, but I must say that the dk tabacco reminds me of backwoods brew 555 or want2vape 555.5 and feverrave is right it mixes well with caramel but for my taste a little dk tabacco goes a long way it can easily overwhelm my juice. happy mixing

When I get new flavors, I make 3 mL of a 10% juice, and just vape individual flavors to get to know them. Then I start mixing them in a carto...a few drops of this, a few drops of that. That starts getting me in the direction of a recipe I might want to scale up. Of course you won't want to do the tobacco abs at 10%, but for the fruit and candy flavors that's a good starting point.

The dulce de leche is really growing on me. Seems to add a nice creaminess to almost everything, especially deep coffee flavors.

You know those little pill plastic pill boxes that say Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday and so on?
i use that to mix small amounts of liquids, no big successes yet though

HOWEVER

this bring me back to childhood,
there is ONE that smells exactly like Fruit roll up
the taste however is weak, or im still smoking to many analogs for the taste =\

where do you get this "dulce de leche" ?
i have a very strong black coffee flavour, looking for it to be more like coffee with milk n sugar tasting.
