Got an issue with my 30watt istick and have seen discounted prices on the istick 40 TC. About 8 bucks cheaper than the 30. Since I use a Aspire Mini atty, I really don't need the temp control, but the 2600 capacity don't sound bad. Any feed back out there?

With 17 views and no feedback, guessing no one has used the istick 40....

I use one occasionally. Decent device for what it is. Works fine in temp mode when using nickel but no settings for stainless or titanium. When in temp mode, the unit always fires at 40 watts; it can't be adjusted. Battery life is more like 1900 mah according to tests, a little lower than the stated capacity. But, battery life is still OK. For what the things costs, I would have to say it's well worth the price.

I have two Istick 30s and an Istick TC 40W and like them both. I don't use temp control on the 40, power mode works fine. Slightly larger than the 30, I like the firing button on the 40. Battery life about the same on either. The 40 reads resistance and volts to two decimal places which is nice. I would buy the 40 on price. Pick up a silicon sleeve, gives a better grip and some protection.
