istick 50 problem?

I just got the istick 50 and the subtank. When I press the button on the istick to fire it, it seems to stall after 1.8 seconds then start up again. It doesn't always do it, but many times it does. Also, my istick 20w won't recognize the subtank. Why would that happen?

There have been many reports of problems with the istick50 although I haven't heard of that one. I would contact the vendor and see if you can get a replacement or refund.

Check the connector pin on the subtank to make sure that it is sticking out far enough to make connection to the istick. If it's not sticking out try to pull it out just a tad.

Can't comment on the 50, but the 20 has a 1 Ω low resistance cut-off. If you're using the 0.5 OCC, the 20 won't work.
