Ya know what, I am reluctant to refer to the istick as a mod, though it has features of a mod.
To me it is more the next step in batteries, like the ubiquitous eGo. You use it till it dies and replace it with the next choice. Viewed in the perspective of an iStick being a better battery it is a nice deal. I pulled the trigger and purchased one with a Nautilus Mini bvc, they work well together. I will probably buy 2 ohm coils as with casual vaping I find it too easy to get burning. I bought it for portability primarily to replace my, formerly, favorite stealth vaping setup, 400mah spinners.
I began vaping with a tendency towards gear acquisition and have settled down to working with gear that just works, fussing and fiddling is no longer for me.
My feelings toward iStick are :thumb:
PS: I like that with the right topper the iStick can stand up on a flat surface :thumb:

For the lurkers out there, you can get a cloupor cana v3 for $60 from angelcigs (ships from Cali):

DNA 30 Style VV/VW Mod Clone By Cloupor

You can also get the KSD version of the mini (replaceable 18490 battery) for $40 shipped using Focal's coupon code for 10% off:

$42.27 HANA MODZ MINI DNA30 Mod - Green(18490)

Both are arguably superior to fasttech's Hotcig models which have been a disappointing lottery for many. The chip in the cloupor model is supposed to be very solid at this point.

I would got the istick but the overhang would of bothered me. We will see how this hana modz 30 clone(without 18650 battery version) works out. If it breaks then thats ok. Means i wont be trying out clones again

Barely noticeable to me, pretty sure the Hana will be nice. Just giving other people interested in the iStick my thoughts on it.
Dead simple and it just works, can hardly wait for the next version. Maybe they will make it temperature regulated by borrowing the DNA 40 idea. I hate burnt taste and am not too concerned about acrolein, just personal preferences

That's contrary to the discussion since May or so. On the other hand, Hotcig has vastly improved their product over the last several months and Fasttech will take care of you for up to 6 months so you should be much better off than the early adapters. There are also some relatively easy fixes for Hotcig gremlins like bad grounding. Nice thing about the Hotcigs is that they offer an adjustable 510. The KSD minis have been in Europe for a long time but since I can't understand German, it's hard to get a sense if they're any good. The focal folks have been enjoying their standard KSD models.

Let us know what you think when your box arrives. These cheapie 30w boxes are great for driving kayfuns and the mini form factor on the one you ordered is going to be pretty nice.

Not even close , the latest Hotcigs are great , vastly superior to the early ones in every way . Friend has the latest Cloupor , hates it , still a lot of issues but they take a few weeks to show up , go figure.
