Istick 50 watt hitting too soft / weak

Ive been using the istick 20 watt for a few months now with the kanger aerotank with 1.8 ohm dual coil. on the 3 istick 20 watt units i have i get the perfect hit at 3.9v / 8.4 watt. but on the istck 50 watt i get almost no hit at 3.9v / 8.4 watt. in order to get the same hit i have to run the istick 50 watt at 12 watts/ 4.6 volts. am i missing anything or is the unit defective?

nope everything is fine. the isticks use PWM for thier vv/vw and the original istick was tuned to Vavg wich means it was less acuurate and fired way to hot. the 30w and 50w are tuned to rms which means they are much more accurate and are firing where they are supposed to
