These are currently my two options as I want a built in battery. I can get the istick a fair bit cheaper and also its 50w rather than 30, has a bigger battery and is smaller in size.
I'm using an mvp20w currently and had an original MVP. I am really impressed with the build quality of the mvps. Does anyone own an istick 50w? If so, would you recommend it over the mvp3?
Or if you have any other recommendations, please fire away!
Thanks :)?

I went with the istick 50 on Saturday. It is built well, great size, great location for charge port, scrolls wattage setting fast, great battery life, good looks, really nice rattle free fire button that is in a good location, plenty of power, stable at 0.2ohm, great threads to attach tank, and only cost $55 out the door from a local shop.

I like the mvp 30watt but the only advantage it has imo is it is built like a tank.

I love my istick 50 except it has a slick feel to it and a fingerprint magnet. I highly recommend it, they are going to be popular and all the big youtube vapes give it good reviews too.

I have no experience with the MVP, but would recommend the iStick 50w to anyone. The form factor is comfortable, the display is straightforward and the battery life is amazing. I've been charging it every 2-3 days and that's usually with 1/3 battery charge remaining. (mostly firing at about 10-15 watt for 2-4 second vapes)

The only way I'd say to avoid the iStick is if you are a very large person. you might find the mod a bit small if you have gigantic hands.

Also no experience with the MVP, but I also got the iStick 50W this weekend. Awesome, awesome battery. When I got it home, I plugged it in to fully charge, took about an hour. I have been using it over the weekend (I go through about 3 ml of juice a day) at various wattages between the minimum of 5W up to 14W and going by the battery gauge my guess is that the battery can easily last me 5 days or possibly an entire week. I've used a Protank 2 Mini, Geni Mini, and the Subtank Mini on it.

That's awesome J, the battery really is good. I vape about 10-12ml of juice a day out of the subtank @22.5 watts most of the time and use about 2-4 tanks of my orchid v3 which is like 1.5ml a tank @20.0w and I get 2 days out of mine with like 10-20% battery left. If I use more then 60% battery the first charge I recharge it that night so I am assured to have an all day vape the next day.

Wish I got 5 days.

Wow! Thanks for the speedy replies! Ok so there is a lot of love for the istick on here. I'm thinking of ordering one off fasttech as I'm in no rush to get it. Seems a steal at £30! My mvp 20w is doing ok atm but looking for a good pairing for my subtank for some sub ohm vaping!

I'm firing a Kanger Subtank Mini with a 0.6ohm build in it at ~23watts on the iStick 50w and it is my favorite setup atm. It is a slick looking device with the stainless iStick. [edit- black or clear o-rings would be better...)

Hey JD, I have no idea if true or not, and it may not relate to fasttech at all...but I was told from a guy who works in a shop that if I bought elsewhere to avoid ebay and amazon as they may be counterfit. Not saying fasttech would be but that sounds like a steal, be careful and I hope I don't add needless paranoia. I've never used that site so let me know, I like bargains too!

Yeah French Fry the mvp build quality is excellent. My mvp 2.0 is still working after 2 hard tall falls onto concrete. The battery started dying after about 3 or 400 charges and would only last 12 hours so it is now my tobacco flavor piece using the emow mega.

Nothing wrong with the 30 watt mvp but the bang for buck goes to the istick imo. If durability is priority 1 then the mvp is tough and the best consideration. Istick 50 is built well to though.

Hey dr satan. I've heard there are many counterfeit items out there on amazon and ebay. By all accounts, fasttech say if it's authentic or imitation. There was something about them selling fake innokin products a while ago. Turns out, they didn't buy directly from innokin but the everyone that bought the products said that they were the real deal. I do like the MVPs I must say! Great build quality!
