I'm not familiar with the istick, but in my experience it is usually the top unit that is messing with the unit. Try changing the coil. Or if you rebuild the resistance may be too low and the unit shuts itself off to protect itself. Also depending on the age of the unit itself, it may just be getting too old. Its like an old gal who is just too tired to do her job...

Old age might just be it , I used it 4 hours ago with it working perfectly and then next thing I know it suddenly shuts off and dies :((
