iStick - am I vaping at double wattage then?

Probably answered elsewhere but some of these threads are vast to wade through
So I put an atty on my istick and set it to eg 5 watts, the hit I get off it seems way more than if I put the same atty on eg an MVP2 at same wattage.
I think I saw somewhere the istick is basically outputting at double what it reads?

Example, I put my Aerotank Mega (2ohm head) on the iStick and set it to 5W, is vaping that the equivalent of putting the same atty/same head on an MVP2 and setting it to 10W ?

If you have a look through the huge main istick thread it is well documented that the istick is using MEAN not vrms to display the voltage/wattage so it is technically overpowered. at lower volts it is actually putting out about a volt more than it says.

The iStick is using a more crude VV/VW implementation of PWM than an MVP or even a VAMO uses. It produces a harsher vape because it produces a less smooth regulated output. You can't necessarily getting more power, you are getting the feel from a crudely produced voltage output.

Thanks for the replies, so do you mean if I have it set at 5W, each time it fires there's no way to tell exactly what wattage it is Actually firing at (is it roughly double what it says, or is there just no way to tell)
