Not an iStick killer in my view. Personnaly I won't benefit from the extra 15 watts or sub ohm capabilities since I use the iStick for the Nautilus. However I can see where this may be a popular device for the money and replaceable batteriy feature. May get one for my rebuildable but I'll keep grabbing the iStick without a doubt.

IMO the reason the iStick got popular was size and price. Both were so "small" that everyone overlooked the crap performance (V-ave readout, doesn't fire every time).

I for one will take a close look at this IPV mini, I'm liking the small form-factor boxes, but I'd like a more reliable "backup/hazardous/disposable" device than my iStick.

Yeah, I've found it as low as $50. And you even get a decent battery. I really like the Yihi chips, so I'm going to say this is a better choice than an iStick. And I do have an iStick. Let's see...its inaccurate, has a crap 510 and sometimes doesn't fire, and the battery level indicator stopped working. I would rather have the ipv.

One of the things I thought of about the iStick was that it belonged in hands smaller then mine. With an RTA on top, I thought I should be holding the topper and vaping the iStick.

One of the things learned by designers was that people weren't buying MODs as much that didn't have a replaceable battery with a USB port. It speaks of being a psychological negative to the longevity of a MOD. Who wants to toss a MOD because the battery doesn't last? The MVP3 will be switching back, as I have read. I remember when the Box MOD came out. They started popping up everywhere.

The mainstream industry adjusts...
