hello everybody, i am a new member on this site and man it feels good! anyways, i have a quick question. i started vaping a little over 6 or 7 months ago on the classic ego 4 battery/tank; but i quickly realized how much it sucked {MODERATED}, so 2 months after that i bought a little 3-in-1 MicroG clone for $30 off ebay. when i got it, it was revolutionary; i could use ejuice, {OTHER STUFF} but it was too good to be true.. the {OTHER STUFF} atomizer broke within first day and the wax one broke the week later. since then, i've been vaping with the liquid attachment. flavor sucks, clouds suck, and burning taste always masks whatever flavor juice im vaping. (i always vape 6mg 100vg spearmint or fruity juice, any company really) anyways, i've been doing my research for a long time now on an alternative. so far, i'm really loving the istick mini 10 watt, with kanger mini protank 3 1.5ohm. the only thing i am looking for is something that is very small, flavorful, can blow sizeable clouds, and costs between 30-40$. is the istick mini 10w and kanger mini protank 3 the correct combination for me? any downfalls of the two?

more mouth to lung, occasionally dtl

Do a YouTube search for "Vaping The New Aspire Nautilus Mini at 20 watts!" and see if this is enough vapor for you.

The Mini Nautilus is a great MTL hitter and a okay (not great) DTL hitter when the airflow is wide open. However, I am coming from a different place in that my comparison is to RDA's/RTA's with HUGE airflow holes/cyclops slots vaping at 40+ watts.

you should buy a rta with airflow control such as subtank mini + lemo 2 ect...
With this kind of rta you can adjust the airflow for MTL or DTL when you need it. I think you should try subtank mini (it's cheap and this kit have all that you need such as low-ohm occ coil, sub-ohm occ coil and a rebuidable section, you can easily make a MTL with this rta and the flavor is good). ^^

$28.40 Authentic Eleaf iStick 30W 2200mAh Variable Voltage / Wattage APV Box Mod (iStick 30W VV/VW Mod, 2200mAh, Black) at m.FastTech.com - FastTech Mobile

$30.13 Authentic KangerTech SUBTANK Mini Clearomizer (SUBTANK Mini, 4.5ml, 1.2ohm, Translucent) at m.FastTech.com - FastTech Mobile

Good combo. Bit higher than your original price range, but this can be used for what you want it for, and into the future when you wanna upgrade.

Of if you're a cheap {MODERATED} like I am, you could enlarge one of the air holes on the Pro-Tank with a 1/16" drill bit for mobetta air flow.

I certainly hope my comment didn't sound like that... I was simply trying to suggest that if he is willing to go a bit higher, then he could get the combo that I still use to this day. Fantastic combo.

If you want decent clouds, you are not going get it it with the 10watt. I suggest at least a 30watt. That way , if you wanna make a switch to sub tanks, it will be easy. It's best to go bigger in wattage to start with. You can always start low on the wattage but, it gives you room to grow. Less expensive that way.

A couple more points.

BOTH the 10w and 20w iStick are only 1050 mah badrys. That might not even get you through a whole day at work. The 30w is over twice as large a badry at 2200 mah. The 10s are also running $22-25, only another $10 gets you the 30w. Part of the whole reason for a box mode is to not have to charge a badry all the time.

If you are stuck at $25 or so for the badry, check out some of the VV sticks. There are some 1300 mah of those for less than the 1000 mah 10/20s iStick, 33% more 'lectricity for the same or lower price.

The aerotanks have the airflow control valve already, and are SS instead of chrome plated brass. And are on sale all over the place for $14 or so. Get an Aerotank instead of the Protank, and that MVP deal I just showed you :). The MVP will still work fine down the road with a single coil RTA or RDA. I vape almost all of mine under 20W. I only need more than 20W for my dual and tri coil attys.
