I recently bought a product on myvaporstore. Its the istick 40w TC, I also bought a kanger protank II with it. The istick came with a O ring in it. But when I decided to take a hit it said "No atomizer" on the little screen even when that tank was connected. Does anyone know how to fix this? I ordered a spare kanger protank II so if I must I will use that.

This 30 second video shows it it

I've seen that fix for another mod a year ago, had no idea the iStick has that issue. What that does is keep the 510 pin centered and not compressed so that the pin makes contact with the tank. If that is the issue (510 pin depressed or cocked/ caused by screwing a tank down too tight) you can 1. turn the mod off. 2. take a small screwdriver and GENTLY pry the 510 pin (like a gentle small wiggle) to get the pin in it's proper position.

DO AT YOUR OWN RISK (might want to take it to a local vape store and let someone with experience look at it)

If I were going to fix it myself do you have a youtube video or something similar to show me?

I have an iStick 40w in my pocket. I'm looking for an O ring.

Anyway... it doesn't surprise me that some tanks don't work well on it, the Kangers are possibly too short compared to something like Aspire or Eleaf tanks.

However, some of my drippers hardly take any thread at all, which means the 510 pin must sit quite high. Maybe it has been pushed down inadvertently. If so, it needs lifting.
It shouldn't need this, but 'things' do happen.

Maybe PT 2 owners also know if there is anything on the tank base which might be relevant. I remember them being awkward... we used to rebuild them, so there is movement in the structure of the tank base too.

I just reread your post. You say you bought it from myvaporstore. If it was new, it shouldn't have that o-ring in there. If it was used, then someone already did the o-ring fix.

If the o-ring is loose, try taking the o-ring out and then putting the tank on and see if it works.

Please excuse if this sounds condescending it's not meant that way. Have you checked the coil head to make sure it's screwed in finger tight? Just moments ago my Frankenstein PT2 gave me a no atomizer reading on an istick 60. I had just filled up the tank and the coil head was loose. This happens to me periodically. The chimney binds against the air tube and sometimes unscrews partly or even all they way when you unscrew the base.

Slightly off topic I very, very, very strongly recommend you invest in an aerotank base for your PT2's. You can get them for less than 4 bucks from China. This makes a Frankenstein I mentioned above that has airflow control plus cheap single coil heads that are easier to rewick. Even if a loose head is not the problem the areotank base might fix it.
