... Since I have smoked any tobacco! Or maybe it's 5?!

I am so glad to be on the vaporisers. So many benefits that you all know!

I am currently using the eRoll as I like how small and portable it is. I have tried e-juices/liquids from TrueVape and JooseJuice. I have left the caps off my latest JooseJuices for about 3 weeks, which today I have discovered may actually be a bad thing because I will lose flavour and nicotine content. I did think that my juices are tasting a bit weak so I think this is definitely the case. I am considering buying some more juices and just shaking them and breathing them every now and again. So far my favourite flavours have been Strawberry, Grape and Apple.

Can people confirm to whether it is actually a bad idea to leave the caps off for this long? I will probably re-buy some of the flavours I already have if this is the case.

Also - what are people's favourite shops for their juices? They must ship to the UK!

Happy vaping and stay off the smoke! :vapor:

as far as steeping goes : I have found different flavors and brands can be different when it comes to this .some taste better after a few days some right after their mixed .but I have found darkness for a couple of hours is good after I mix my own .I don't even keep caps on my bottles and cannot really tell much difference.

Thank you very much for your reply. So it's your opinion that leaving the caps off doesn't matter?

I also think it may be a good idea that I grab a back-up vape, also maybe something I can use when I am at home too. (Already had a scare of my eRoll breaking). Any recommendations here?

Erinarthur222 is right it varies per the juice. My general routine is place juice in hot tap water for 2 hours and then place in a cool dark place. Once a day for the first 2-3 days I will open the bottle squeeze it until the liquid almost comes out screw on the cap and then shake for 60 seconds.

Considering some juices use alcohol based flavorings leaving the cap open long term would allow flavor to escape. The only juice I personally know that benefits from leaving the cap off is naturally extracted tobacco (NETS) juices.

Ah okay I see the logic behind how they would lose flavour now. I am tempted to buy some of the same flavours and test the breathed and steeped vs non breathed and steeped.

I have a million backup recommendations but answer these three in order then people on here can nail it down.

1. Are you looking for a box style, tube style or form doesn't matter?

2. If this is for home use what size are you looking for? For instance is a mod size device something you have no interest in?

3. How technology savvy are you? Do you want something with a pretty screen and electronic board or something smaller and more minimalist style that requires you understand certain basic things?

1. I know different forms exist, but to be honest I am not too clued up on them and mainly I don't know the benefits of different form.

2. I guess as it's a home device it doesn't matter if it's too big. But the main reason for me buying one would be as a back up as well, so I may need to take out of the house if my eRoll stops working for whatever reason. So I wouldn't want a lunchbox sized one ;)

3. I guess I like it minimal. I am up for a learning curve though as I like to learn new things. I like spread the love of vaping too and I will feel more confident in this if I know more.

Cheers for your reply mate.

The MVP 2 mentioned earlier is a great option. The ability to be used as a passthrough is a big plus for at home or if you work in a office. However my negatives on it are the battery isn't easily replaced for the technology ignorant and if the printed circuit board breaks after use then it's just over.

After owning several (8) "mods" with screens, electronics and all the cool fancy gadgets I have decided I'm done with them. Eventually something will go wrong and if it's more than soldering some wires the device is trash can ready.

My personal opinion is start with a popular mechanical clone such as the chiyou or nemesis and save yourself headaches in the long run. If something were to ever mess up its a simple $1 - $10 part a person with minimal skills could replace. Then as you progress in the future to rebuildable atomizers you will only be limited by the $10-$15 battery in the tube.
