I looking for a Joye eGo-C and some nic juice. I want to pay with PayPal or a credit card and you'd think it wouldn't be that hard, but guess again.

I'm still looking, but getting frustrated. Even worse is I'm started to feel like some kind of criminal trying to get this stuff.

I have a neighbour that smokes something other than cigarettes, and he smokes also. He has no problem getting his stuff and has no guilt. Something is really wrong with that don't you think?

If anyone knows where I can get the Joye C, juice with nic, a credit card, and a reasonable price (another Canadian problem), please let me know. I don't want to keep smoking.

Unfortunately, most Canadian vendors can't accept CC payments because of the ban on e-cigs/nic e-juice. Can you not do an e-transfer with your bank? It's easy to set up.

Another option would be to send an email to a vendor that you want to purchase from & see if they can set something up for you to pay with if you can't e-transfer.

This is what I would suggest .....

Try OneStopEshop - they will have eGo-C both battery sizes, e-juice & take credit cards. I purchased my Ego-T with them. Good service & decent prices. Email them for eta on the Ego-C's. Joyetech eGo C 650mah

Thanks, I've been there and the C is still listed as pre-order. I may get a T model. Not sure.

The original is just the standard eGo battery with a regular atty and spongey cartridges. When an atomizer dies you replace it with it's cone shaped housing and base.

"T" is for tank, so the atomizer is made to take little plastic tanks instead of the spongey cartridges. The battery is a regular eGo battery. People say they leak a lot. Mine leaks a lot. :) When an atomizer dies you also replace the whole thing with it's housing and base.

"C" is for changeable or something, at least that's how I remember it. This one allows you to separate just the atomizer head from it's cone and base to replace it. This also looks like a tank type cartridge. Don't know if they leak but hopefully that was improved. When an atomizer dies, you only replace the head of the atomizer and keep the original (and not likely to be broken) housing and base.

I'm not sure if I can give a constructive review of the "C"; I kind of feel like it's only a minor improvement. How much cheaper are the heads alone?

I prefer cartos anyway, so all I care about is batteries nowadays. :)

The T & C are basically the same thing with a slight design improvement. They use the same atomizer design & tank. The difference is the C is its changeable & allows the user to get to replace the head of the atomizer. Unlike the T, the C does not leak with the newer design. I have also figured out an easy way to clean & reuse the heads. I'll share this, when the time is right.

The problem is, credit card processors won't allow E-cig vendors to sign up for merchant accounts if they sell E-cig-related stuff in a country where it is not allowed (either due to a moratorium by the ruling health body or because it's flatly illegal.) I don't know how CNF does it, but they must have been a little dodgy -- not that there's anything to complain about there. :) PayPal will ban accounts trading in E-cig related merchandise even if it's in a country where it's legal and legit. So that's why it's so hard to find places that accept CC or PP in Canada.

If you bank with an institution that supports E-Mail Money Transfer then I would definitely learn how to do that. Otherwise, talk to the vendor and see if they will accept a money order or personal cheque.

3 things cause leaking:
  • the improper position of the wick in the atty (eGo T) too much wick = too much liquid going to the coil;
  • the eGo C seems to have solved that as the wick is accessible at the bottom of the assy (not so on the eGo T); and
  • liquid viscosity. They were designed around the norm 70/30
The other things that affect leaking are:
  • removing the hard plastic cap, for refilling - use a syringe;
  • the soft neoprene hugs the pin better, use soft ends; and
  • last but not least, when all is well and the thing starts to leak, toss the tank and use a new one. The hole has enlarged after prolonged in and out. Contrary to belief, things do not last forever and disposable items require disposal from time to time.

I am on the same 2 attys since March 2011. I am probably on my third tanks or so (hard caps) BTW soft caps require replacing more frequently. Shak22 was at our meet and couldn't believe how well my T was performing, as he only had problems with his. I might add to this, my equipment is JoyE.

Forgive my lack of knowledge, but what is the difference between the C, the T and the original?

I'm pretty new to this so I can't really explain all the differences as I should. Do a search for them and you can easily find out. I'm not trying to picky buying a C model, but time and time again I've read that a first time buyer like myself should not get something too cheap, or something they don't understand. I was going to get the T model actually, then I read about the C for only 10 bucks or so more and it's really worth it IMO.

I should add that I don't think the T model is cheap, just that I feel the C is a better choice for me.

redmerc,

I've never used the T but I'm a noob like yourself and I find the C is a snap to use, vapes great, tastes loverly and both battery size and tank size will get you through the day, especially if you carry 2 of them and a few pre filled tanks.

I'd read the earlier post by Switched a few times and prepare for some minor glitches in the first few days of use. I've found the attys need a bit of break in time but my limited experience has shown this to be true of most atty designs. I have 510 attys for dripping because i like the flavour hit and I have some Kanger cartos for similiar reasons, I LOVE the eGo-C for it's ease of use, you won't regret this purchase, keep in mind it's less than 2 weeks of PAD analogue use.
