I am still somewhat new in the field of mods / apvs. I have had a Vamo v2 for a little while now and I'm enjoying it quite a lot. I have noticed the iTaste 134 mod looks really nice from the outside. But it seems to be somewhat lackluster in features. Especially with the price tag attached to it. What does the iTaste 134 have (other than a cool body that looks like a lightsaber) that makes it so nice?

It's a collector's piece. Some claim it fits their beefy man hands better, but it's really about the 'presence' of it. It fires the same batteries as the vamo, zmax, provari, etc. and has variable wattage (only), so most pv's are as capable or more.

The price has actually been falling lately as it was $160+ when it first came out, whereas I've seen it for closer to $100 in places now.

I paid $129 CAD for mine. I do like the heft.

What I like about it the most is that its 'digitally analog and the style is very industrial which I find appealing. I don't apologize for having an aesthetic bend towards it. I'm not trying to be 'manly' or anything. I vape to enjoy myself and its part of the experience.

The wattage ring is very easy to manipulate and quick and it fires to full power very quickly. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to use it but can still benefit from VW. And its a hellova conversation starter, although it hasn't left the house yet, as I'd rather conceal a vaping device - I use an eVic as a carry-with. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

I'll probably get a provari at some point just because I'm a gadget wh0re and can't resist not having the option that everyone else covets (yes, I can be shallow). YMMV.

That thing is nuts, it looks like some kind of fancy watch or something, I would say that I like the look but there is a tone of extra construction with those bars on the sides and the sliding ring that adds up to the extra price not to mention just the shear amount of stainless steel there is there. I would be all over that if it held a bigger battery rip some hi wattage all day if it was 26650

I had one and sold it, it really is a monster, and at that size it really should fit a 26650 battery.

Agreed, definitely a lost opportunity given that they were going for 'big' in the design. On road trips I need to use a second battery as I can pull it dead about 3/4s through the day.

Have you considered an iTaste MVP 2.0? Better construction than your Vamo, and even though it's a box mod it is very slim and sits easier in a pocket. I think it would be a good complement to your Vamo.

Sorry I have not responded in quite a few days! Went out of town and just got back in. Thanks for all of the great replies! To be honest.. I had suspicions that the price had something to do with how awesome it looked and that it is rather "manly". I think I may actually just look into some box mods that fit nicely in the pockets instead of getting a huge 134 that I can't really carry on me. Thanks again for all of the replies! :)
