Yep, that's how mine does it, too. Just leave it plugged in until the light turns off, then it's fully charged. Press the button once to see if the green light flashes, if not then click three times really quick to turn it on, and then you good to go (assuming, of course, everything is working correctly). I noticed in the instructions for that battery that the light will be green for any voltage above 3.75V. On the charger, it doesn't take long for that to happen, so it's important to leave it plugged in for, at least, a while after the light turns green.

Just so that I am clear--you left the battery on the charger cord until the light turned off. Yes? Then, you press the button 3 times to turn on the battery. Yes? But when you press the button, after the battery is already turned on, you just get the red flashing? What happens when you remove your tank from the battery and then press the button? Do you know the resistance of the coil you're using?

navigator yes u are correct it just flashes red 6 times as if the voltage is on the mark ( as it does when its not on the complete number ) the coil and tank i dont think has anything to do with it as it only recently starting doing this ive had the tank and the battery working together for a while now .

sunburst ive checked the manual and cant seem to find the corresponding problem to which i am having.

keep posting suggestions guys and thanks to u guys who already tried to help :)

When you remove the tank form the battery, you should be able to still push the button and see the green light. Just one more thing you can check.

Well, if it isn't ^^, then I'm guessing something in the spinner/adjustment portion is hosed up. Is it still under warranty? I'd suggest trying to find a tear-down video if it isn't warranted anymore. Can't make it work any less, you know?

Sorry for just linking the manual so abruptly, but my kids were in need for some parenting right at that moment. And, there are plenty of people who ask some really, really easy to google stuff here. You know like, could have found the answer and fixed it quicker than it would have taken to register and post. Please accept my apologies.

Agreed. I hope it isn't something internal, though.
