I just bought a new tank for my battery two days ago. It's the eGo One with the 1ohm coil. Battery is an iTazte clk 1280. Half the time it doesn't work. The battery will flash 6 times red with a little pause in the middle or it'll stay solid green for about 5 seconds with no vapour produced. Tried with a different battery, no vapour. I'm completely lost on what to do, so any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

the CLK will not work. If it works, it's by pure chance and actually stressing the battery as it is considered unsafe to go below the specs.

If it doesn't work with the Ego one battery and you have the battery fully loaded then have you tried to replace the atomizer with a new one? the ego one should be able to fire it.

But it works sometimes.. I also have the ego one battery with it and it doesn't work with that either..

The Ego One tank will not work on the iTaste CLK; the coil resistance is too low. It was not designed to work under 1.2 ohm.

The Ego One tank should work on the Ego One battery device; it was designed to. If it doesn't work, then the electrical connection is amiss. There may be a short in the coil, so replace it with a new coil.

If a new coil doesn't work, then the center pin of the battery's 510 connector may have been pushed into the battery. You can try to tease it up higher with a microscrewdriver or metal nail file. (Don't over-tighten your juice attachment onto your battery device.)

ABBY says she got this "fix" from ECF. "I still have to do it , to sometimes fix it." Bobby-pin, :) to add to all the other wonderful tools that have been mentioned here - knives, scissors, screwdrivers and paperclips.

After reading through the comments I found this.

my rubber ring actually broke off and now my MVP is dead. can i just buy a new one and replace it?

Yes, someone did mention #60 o-ring at HomeDepot. PROVARI - 510-EGO ADAPTER EGO to 510 adapter is another easy solution to "lack of contact."
I actually use the #60 o-ring on my Legacy and it solved the occasional "lack of contact."

While I usually find Bads advice very good and He's not alone in giving this advice - it's a no-brainier, right? - this is one time I have to say - Bad advice. But, We still love you Baditude :thumb:

It sounds like the bottom half might need to be replaced.
