Hello, New here to the forum. Whats going on?

That said. I have an iTaste CLK Sport 1280

I was gifted this unit a month ago, new in the packaging. I'm not sure yet if I have to take any action with the warranty yet. I'm trying to find out why it is not working. This thing is so new, that I don't think that there is a problem with the battery, however, when looking through the manual, I didn't see any LED indication info on when to know when the battery is dead. The light turns green when plugged in, and eventually turns off. The device is not off (I click three times quickly), yet nothing happens when my tank is securely attached to the battery as far as the indicator goes. When I have the battery plugged in, and I try to take a drag All three lights blink simultaneously, and stops after one cycle.

One more thing to mention, my tank works on other batteries.

I didn't see anything about this in prior threads. Any professionals, or people that have had this unit before that might know whats going on?

I don't have that machine, so I can't answer. Do you have a manual or can you download one? If so, see what all the LEDs flashing means. It could be the tank is simply not making contact and the machine thinks it doesn't have one. Hopefully somebody with that mod will be along in a minute and can answer better than I have done. Welcome to the board.

The first thing I did was try with two other tanks I have, with no luck. Then I tried to raise the center pin of the battery, no luck there either :(

I have the manual that came with the device, as well as an updated pdf document from the manufacturer.

I'm at a loss

I took a look at the manual too, and I didn't see anything to cover what you described.

Try pressing the fire button with no tank attached. If the same thing happens, it's gotta mean a problem establishing a connection with the tank.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Looks like you are doing nothing incorrectly assuming that you have a clean metal to metal contact between the battery pin and tank.
Could contact:
Local B&M Vape Shop -----Might be simple.
Vendor who sold it ---see if they will repair or replace or advise (any authorized distributor).
Manufacturer contact ---see if they will repair or replace or advise.
