Had a late-night shopping spree the other night and decided to get a better setup, after looking around a bit I ended up deciding on the mvp 2.0 and mini protank 3.

Never had a vw battery before, or a box for that matter, but I've heard good things about these. Not too pricey either, got both shipped with the iclear 16 clearos for like 45 bucks

Does anyone have any experience with either of these? Like I said I've never messed around with VW, I know its subjective but what wattage do you guys vape at? I guess this goes from 5 or 6 to 11.

Also there's no danger of me messing around with it and burning coils is there? I assume I should just start at the lowest setting and keep turning it up until I reach a sweet spot, but I'll probably wanna try out the upper limit just for kicks n gigs. Just trying to avoid doing something stupid, not really well versed in the do's and don'ts of vaping yet haha

One more thing, how are those iclear things quality-wise? I assume they're not the best of quality and Ill probably end up using the mini protank 3 or the aspire bdc I already have, but since they came with the mvp I figure theyre worth at least trying out

I like my MVP 2.0. Battery lasts 3 days to a week depending on how much I vape, and I usually charge when the battery light turns yellow. My friend bought one after trying mine, he's a former 1-2 pack a day smoker who vapes pretty much constantly, and he gets 2-3 days between charges. I've found most liquids taste best at 7.5 watts, most taste burnt at 8+ watts. I didn't like the included Iclear 30. Loose draw, and little flavor. Bottom coil clearos are easier to fill and change the coil heads. I mostly use Evods, they're cheap enough to buy a bunch of them for different flavors, and they work really well. I haven't tried the Protank 3, but I did recently get some Evod Glass that use the same dual coils, and I wasn't impressed. Went through liquid and battery charge like crazy, and flavor was really muted compared to the same liquid in the original Evods with the single coils.

I love my MVP. I had it about 3 weeks. I run mine on wattage mode, about 8-8.5 is what my juice likes. What I do is is fill my tank and start about 7 watts and bump it up till, I get a taste I like. You can also do this in volts mode also. The watts mode allows the thing to adjust to ohms of the coil in the tank auto magically. I kinda think of this like driving an automatic transmission in a car vs power be more like a manual. It's trial and error, till you get what you want. Taste and hits are subjective to you.

Love my MVP 2.0 after starting with an ego twist carto/clearo. And with the kanger mini pro 3 tank at anywhere from 6.5 watts to 8watts is where I vape, and it's a nice setup. Recently I added nautilus mini and it is easier to fill and vapes better than kanger but is more expensive. So at the kanger price point you can't beat it, and replacement coils are cheap. Great vape for the money.

Good choice! I really like my MVP with the Kanger 3. I started out at 3.8v now I vape at 10w. I have since bought a REO but you can't compare the two. For the money and vv/vw you picked a winner. My mom, who is in her 70's, liked my MVP so much she picked one up last week. I still use mine a lot. Make sure you change the coil out so have replacements on hand. I change my coil out about every two weeks but I am not an all day vaper.

I love my MVP with the protank 3. As far as how high you go, it depends on what replaceable head you put on there. Get a few heads of different ohms resistance and see what works for you. I have tried 2.5, 2.2, 2.0 and 1.8. I don't buy 2.5 or 2.2 any more. The lower ohm, the lower the voltage you have to use it at. Watts is just volts squared divided by ohms, ex: 4 volts, 2 ohms is 8 watts. Luckily you don't have to be precise with your numbers, just in the ballpark and then dial it in to your taste. That being said, it seems that my MVP works better when these numbers match up, mathematically and on the device. Also, I like using the "vaping power chart 2.0" (Google) as a quick reference.
I've never used an i clear, mostly because I like juice that cracks plastic tanks, and I've never had a problem with protanks.

Good choice. I've had my MVP2 for almost 3 months and I'm more than satisfied with it. I left the iClear tank in the box and don't use it since I prefer pyrex/glass tanks. I too have a Protank 3 Mini but I personally prefer single coil setups so I normally use my Protank 2 and Protank 2 Mini tanks as my daily drivers. I also recently purchased a Kayfun Lite Plus v2 which I'm really enjoying. Juices taste different/better at a certain wattage/voltage but 7.5W is generally a great starting point, then increase/reduce to your liking depending on the juice...I have mine set at 7.5W most often.
