Greetings! I'm running a I taste MVP 2.0 & Kanger Subtank rig. I've rebuilt the OCCs with various 30 & 28 awg Kanthal wire and organic cotton, but I'd like to get a little more cloud and flavor. Not sure if the RBA would work better or if a higher wattage box is in order. Any suggestions?

As djs stated, the MVP 2.0 just doesn't have the power to run a Subtank. It won't be able to fire the 0.5 ohm coil and even with the 1.2 ohm coil it'll be struggling to keep up with the airflow even on the lowest settings. You're now faced with 2 options, either replace the Subtank with something else (Nautilus, Protank, Aerotank, etc) or replace the MVP 2.0 with something better suited for the Subtank. Should you decide to go with another device I wouldn't go any lower than a 30 watt device, a 20 watt would work but 30 watts would be a better option.

Get a better mod. The MVP 2.0 wasn't made with sub-ohming in mind and is vastly underpowered. Best bang for your buck would be something like an iStick 50W. Best price is at Rocky Mountain vapor (when in stock) with the code FORUM for 15% off. Eleaf Istick Kit : Rocky Mountain Vapor, The Mountain top of Electronic Cigarettes

You could also look at getting into mech mods.

The iStick is a good option, but unless the OP is willing to put in the time to learn about batteries and the safety requirement to use a mech mod it might not be a good suggestion. Mech mods are like a parachute, they're great when they work but when something goes wrong your in for a world of :censored:

Now, I'm using subtanks (on other mods), but at surprisingly low power... weird that. :)
Not trying to jack your thread, but that brings up something I noticed. Granted I am very new to this but I have a Kanger Sub Mini(.5 coil) w/30w iStick and find I get plenty big, dense clouds at 2.8-3.0v. When I watch reviews on Youtube and read about things, it seems most people run much higher. I know the friend that introduced me to it runs his Aspire Mini Nautilus at 3.7v.
