iTaste Mvp first generation questions

so my mother bought a mvp a while ago used it for like 2 weeks then didnt use it for a few months and now it wont charge but on one hand the charger has vanished in that time frame and we are trying to use a samsung phone charger with the same input piece
just wondering if any one has had this problem also or knows some ideas to fix it cause i really dont want to dissasemble it for modding parts if i dont have to

The charger is built in to the MVP. All they come with is a cord with micro usb on one end and usb on the other. Most likely either the battery pack is bad or the micro connector came loose from the pc board. Check youtube for a video on what that looks like.
