itaste mvp 2 charging question

The only charger that will fit the MVP's charging port is a micro USB, it is definitely preferable to use the one from the manufacturer that is designed for it
You need to use a micro-USB charger for it. Be aware that not all USB ports are the same, some are "high power" and some are not. A high-power port can supply up to 2 amps (IIRC) while a low-power port will only supply 1/2 amp.
On a high-power USB port, the MVP will charge from total red to fully charged in about 3.5-4 hours. On a low-power port it can take much longer.
However, since the MVP has a built-in charging regulator, you can charge it on any USB port; it's just a question of how long it takes.

As long as your wall charger can output 5V, it'll work with the MVP.
I use my Galaxy tab wall charger to charge my MVP because it seems to charge it faster than my other chargers. But so far, I haven't had any issues using any of my wall chargers.

so i used the ego wall charger that came with my 900 mah ego t batteries. i charged it all the way until the green light went off. so i turns it on and it reads the battery @ 4.2V what gives? isnt it supposed to be @ 5V fully charged?

If a lithium ion battery showed it was charged to 5 volts that would be a very very bad thing. Termination voltage for lithium ion batteries is 4.2 volts. Anything charged higher than that starts causing damage to the battery.

On a full charge I get 2 1/2 - 3 days out of mine and I vape a lot.
yeah sucks is too harsh sorry about that It did last me almost 3 full days compared to the 900mah Ego-T batteries I started with. I'm pretty content with my mvp 2 and it has served me well since I got it 3 days ago

While this would be a great charger for the MVP, I would caution against using this for cheap 510-usb chargers.
The MVP seems to have very robust charge/discharge regulation.
However, cheaper USB chargers might rely on the fact that a USB port is supposed to limit it's output current to 2A at 5V. If the charger is relying on this for regulation, and is plugged into a port that can supply up to 8A, this could cause real problems, perhaps charging the battery too quickly, or burning out the charger due to excessive current.
I'm not sure this is actually a problem, but it would cause me some concern.
I whipped out the ole MVP2 User Manual so you could see what is directly recommended from Innokin:
The device will actually shut off the charging capability so that it does not overcharge and has built in protection for over discharge which you probably found out that it will just not fire..

That's the operating voltage of Lithium Ion batteries; it's not something specific to the mvp2.
