Was recommended these products in a thread yesterday have since done alot of research but its pretty balanced. Im leaning toward the MVP just because i think it looks cool but not sure if thats a good enough reason. Does either device have any pros or cons i should know about. Is one better than the other or is it pretty even ? Are there any features that are missing which could come in handy. From what ive read the MVP cant detect atomizer resistance and the VAMO can. This doesnt bother me much as most come with the resistance on them....

Finally do VV devices keep the voltage constant until the battery is dead. Ive read that regular batteries reduce the voltage as the battery runs out. This is one of my major reasons for getting a new vv batt so im hoping im correct :) Based on your votes i will buying either device :)

Cheers,
JP

i went with the vamo for its UI and battery versatility. i didnt need an iphone charger  and would much prefer to ability to swap out dead batteries with fresh ones. its basically everything you would want in a budget/introduction apv. i believe both devices are regulated and have boost circuits.

I say the vamo. I own one and love it. I have used an MVP and was not impressed. The vamo is also variable wattage with will automatically adjust the voltage to accommodate the resistance of your atomizer. Plus I prefer removable batteries and MVP don't allow that. The vamo can run on single 18350, double stacked 18350s or single 18650. Good luck!

The VAMO is both variable voltage AND variable wattage.

The iTaste MVP is currently VV only. Version 3 is coming soon, and it will have all of the bells and whistles of a VAMO (VW and Ohm checker). The MVP has a 2600 hour Mah battery, which lasts at least 2 days. Indicator light on the button tells you the battery is waning (green to yellow to red). The MVP only goes to 5 volts, so if you're using a very high resistance (3+ Ohm), it might not be enough, but handles most resistances very well. The voltage stays consistant even when the battery begins to drop to yellow). It takes about 8 hours to fully charge using an AC wall adapter for the USB charger. The MVP is also a portable power supply, so you can charge your cell phone and other USB devices. The MVP is also a Passthru while charging.

Version 3 of the MVP should be out fairly soon, with VW/VV, resistance checker, etc. It will mostly likely stay at 5V maximum, and the battery will still remain an internal, non-replaceable battery.

The MVP is a smaller form factor than the VAMO, is built like a brick, but isn't too heavy, and it's very comfortable in the hand. It has a nice slip resistant finish, and fits in a pocket nicely. It has both ego and 510 threading.

I love my MVP, and am looking forward to the new features in version 3, which will make the MVP unstoppable :)

consider also the bulk of the MVP. I'm looking for a new batt setup as well, and as much as I like the idea of a huge 2600mAh batt, the bulk of it is just unreasonable for daily carry. Would be a cool home-vape, though!

It's a little bit heavy, around 5 ounces, but it's actually smaller than most cell phones.
