So when I first got my MVP I had in issue with one of my tanks getting stuck. Later found out that it is in easy fix but at the time I thought it was the end of the world. At that point I had been vaping for two days. Well end result PTSD set in and I ended up ripping the whole threaded part out of the MVP causing it to detach all the wires and all that.
So I took it apart and put the threaded part back in now keep in mine the threaded part was only held in by pressure so once you take it out it will never stay in the same and will keep getting loose which that problem will get addressed later in my storey. So anyway I re soldered the wires back in and put it all back to gather and everything was good to go. But the threaded part would get loose and was a pain in my but. So for some resign I put on a beauty ring and end result it went in to far and got stuck and would not come out. So now I had a beauty ring stuck and the loose threaded part and the ring would limit what tanks I could put own. So tonight I decided to fix my issue one way or another.
My first problem was I could not get to the screws on the top of the MVP due to the beauty ring so t took a dremel tool and cut away at the ring so I could get to the screws which worked out good. I opened the bad boy up and soldered the hell out of the bottom of the threaded part so there is no way it can move. I did a quick test before I put it back together and it worked fine and then I dropped the whole thing. I went to test it again and we it was not working. Then I notice when I dropped it and it severed one of the wires to the threaded part not good at all. The wires are so short that there was no way to re splice them. So I had to take the whole unit apart from top to bottom just to get some room to work. I looked around the shop and found some small wire that I hoped would work. Well got every spliced back together and re soldered.
Now the thing is like new and works grate but to bad a 20min project turned into a two hr project. But all is good now!!
