The lowest ohms i have donecand still got a good vape is between 1 and 1.2 ohms single coil on an agi in dripper mode and atound 1.2 in genny mode

It worked just fine at 4-4.2 volts and heated up quickly but not ad fast as a mech with a good battery but acceptable .

I build most of my coils around 1 ohm and when my mechanical battery dies I screw my Genesis on to my MVP while the battery chargers it works just fine but not as good as the Mech.

You should be fine building coils 1-1.2 and at the sweet spot with 1.5-1.8 @ 4-4.5 volts

It will fire anything you put on it from my honest experience I have even fired point 8 ohm it just didn't want to heat it up that well. But the .8 did fire and vape. Just not as well as it should I do not believe the MVP has any kind of built-in protection considering that mine would fire a point 8 ohm coil without trouble

The MVP has a 3.5 Amp / 11 Watt limit.

Even if you are somehow firing coils around 1Ω, it is not firing them at your settings. You can jack up a 1.2Ω coil to 5 Volts, but it will only be firing that coil at 3.6 Volts maximum because of the limitations of the regulation electronics.

You are indeed best hanging around 1.5Ω - 2.5Ω to actually experience the flexibility that the MVP's variable voltage/wattage has to offer.

It is pointless to use coils < 1.2Ω on an MVP.

My MVP 2.0 will fire 0.8 ohm coils, but I've found 2.0 ohm microcoils with 28 or 30 gauge Kanthal to be the "sweet spot" for it.

It's limited to 3.5 amps, so while you can get > 11 watts of power with a low(ish) resistance coil in VV mode at 5.0 volts, it will limit itself to a lower voltage if the resistance is too low.

Save the subohm coils for a mechanical mod.

I think the settings are the ranges with the mvp and vv. It's been a while since I measured, so I'm not 100%. So there's a 5volt limit, but also an11 watt limit. For some reason, it will fire a 0.8ohm coil at 2.7ish volts..I don't get that. I think boost mods shouldn't allow you to fire a coil that can't have its voltage adjusted.

I was about to wait around for a dna30 board, but all these other options are coming around.. I think the dna30 is still my best option for standard resistance.

Edit- still has a 3.5amp limit. I do remember that I measured a 0.8ohm piece of wire around 2.78volts.
