Do the watts and volts work together simultaneously? Like when I set it to what wattage I like, will it automatically adjust the volts and vis versa? I'm not too familiar with watts, so I'm just trying to learn. I just picked up my MVP today, and before that I was using an ego twist. As I understand it, with the MVP you can adjust the watts to what you like, and it will stay at that number until the battery runs out (unlike the twist where you have to keep turning up the volts as you use-- like if I had it at 4 volts but the battery was running low, it wouldn't truly be 4 volts). Is this correct?

They work independently on the MVP. If you set watts then you are running in watts. If you set volts then you are running volts and it will stay that way until you change it. I messed with both on mine and did not see much of a difference. The trick is checking the ohms on your topper before setting your voltage or wattage.

I typically started lower and then increased the power until I had a nice vape going. It is easier for me to adjust power up slightly until I get to my happy place. You will quickly determine what too high is for your topper.

The wattage setting will automatically use the voltage necessary to produce the specified wattage regardless of the resistance of your coil. In other words, if you are using a 2 ohm coil at, say, 8 watts and then swap the coil for another topper that has a 1.5 ohm coil, the MVP will automatically adjust the voltage so that your vape stays the same at 8 watts--no need to check the resistance of your coil if you're in wattage mode. Bear in mind that if you then switch to voltage mode, your MVP will utilize the voltage setting you had it on last--not the voltage it was using to supply your wattage setting. Also, as the battery drains, the device will continue to supply the voltage necessary to comply with your setting. In practice, this results in a steady vape until the battery dies--but the battery drains increasingly faster as it nears the end.
