Wicks and ohm... And battery setting

Heyveryone I need some help...
I have an iTaste mvp 2.0 with a vivi nova 1 tank and a 3 ohm wick
I was told that with this I could run the battery on 3.8 volts and more than 6.0 watts (the mvp goes from 3.3 to 5 volts and 6.0 to 11 watts)
I wwant to get more and thicker vapor but I used 3.8 and 6 watts and it tastes and smells burnt :(
Is there something I can do to avoid this and get what I want or do I need a different tank?

Maybe using a Higher VG Level in your e-Liquids would do the Trick?

what brand vivi nova is it? some off brand heads will taste burnt right out of the box

are you keeping the wicks wet with the "vivi nova twirl"? You need to keep inverting your device to keep the wicks wet, you need to do this with all of the top coil clearos and tanks otherwise you will get dry hits, enough dry hits and you burn the coil so it will keep tasting burnt no matter what voltage or wattage you use

even though the wicks are long and reach near the bottom of the tank you still need to twirl it because it is tough for it to wick into the coil area if left standing up right all of the time

and you can either be in voltage mode or wattage mode, not both, wattage mode is best because then it sets the voltage automatically no matter what resistance your head is.

oh, and welcome to the ECF
