On some Protank heads, the coils come with 3 flavor strands, I needed to remove one to get a consistant hit on the pro tank 2

Does anyone have both models to confirm that the button is twice as sturdy?
Sure hope this was not removed as posted earlier in this thread, really prefer a stout button.

I used to take out one of the flavor wicks out but that's when I had leaking problems. Every head since on Protank mini and Protank II, I've never taken it out and have had zero leaking issues. I feel like I get a consistent hit and flavor using the Protank II with all wicks on the MVP 2 more consistent than when I was on my mechanicals.

The button is sturdy, I've never used a MVP 1 but I really like the button of the MVP 2 it's a firm press but definitely not as difficult as everyone is saying it is. Maybe it's just me though, I think it's easier than firing a bottom button mechanical like my Sigelei 19 B or K101.

Maybe try cleaning the head. I've been using the protank 2 with it at 8.5W and have been happy with both the vapor and flavor with Jameson's peaches and cream

Anyone using an igo-L on theirs? If so what gauge wick and silica mm are you using?

I use my MVP to with the IGO-L and it is great. Low profile and hits great. Sorry though I use cotton wicks. Like them a lot better than the original silica build it came with.

Awesome. Yeah, I get the cotton. Just ordered silica to mess with the PT, evod, Vivi, etc.

I have been using 30 ga, but just ordered some 28 ga to try out. With the 30 ga, have been getting about 1.8 ohms with 6-7 wraps. Want to try more wraps for more surface area on the coil. Have been trying microcoils, and really like them with the organic cotton ball wicks. Super easy to rewick without having to recoil.

Which are smooth, and which have some "relief" or "texture"?

The carbon fiber is a "woodgrain" texture. There is no grip to it. I didn't like it. Went with the black this time from 101vape, as it was my only choice. I hope its a rubber feeling like black eGos. I really wanted the silver but 45$ shipped priority was too good of a deal.
