Itaste SVD repair or rip it

got a new itaste SVD and after a week of usage the -ve button stopped working and needed a very hard press to connect and now i cant get out of the loc mode
so i wanted to know if anyone was able to fix that switch or should i try to take the chip out and use it in a box mod?

And if anyone tried that or know where i can find a picture of that thing ripped apart that would be very helpful​

I have had power/trigger issues mine is around 6 weeks old I think it will fail shortly. The switch has collapsed and has the minutest of travel.

I also posted on any info as it maybe easy to fix if I could get into it!

Unfortunately it's in Polish if you have any ideas or info please post or get in touch it was my only APV so I may go the same way and make a mod box.

thank you all, i was able to cut it open but it wasnt easy at all i even cut my self a few times while doing that, it didnt have threads on the top and it wasnt pressed i tried every thing to open it but couldnt, i really think it was welded by some devil , this thing wasnt meant to be opened and they did a very good job sealing it shut.

i was able to take the circuit out after cutting it and i did a quick test and i think it is working i will be using it on a box mod soon.

Looks like you had a real mission getting open, blood sweat and tears literally. I managed to get my trigger switch working still no tactile feedback it's flat but working so wont go down the repair route until it dies atleast i have a backup now which i did not before. Like you i want to box mod it, i started a thread but it seems some think its a pointless exercise! Box modders had to have started somewhere and its not a difficult fix considering the electronics are good and possible improvements could be made moving it over ie trigger switch is currently the cheapest of the cheap.

Good fortune with the SVD box modding keep us posted, my first point was what to put it in I was thinking a old MVP but i'm a newbie to vaping and dont really know whats a available?
