A 510 to 510 w/ego adaptor could possibly work.

I know my Ody clone threads did the same thing on my vamo and china gg. Everything still works on my vamo accept a mini nova ... which I think is starting to get bad threads as well. Neadless to say ... I refuse to use the ody clone anymore with its shallow threading and heavy weight.

Anywhooo ... try the adapter.

Thanks, I will try my offline shop tomorrow, hopefully that adapter still works on the threads.

I'd rather use EGo (outer ring) -> 510, but does that even exist?

IMHO the 510 threads are great for small devices, but the bigger ones? No wonder those threads wear out, even if they were done well (and some clearly aren't)

They make an adapter for pretty much any setup you want. The outer Ego threading is negative only though ... so you have to use the 510 for the positive connection. You can get a 510 to 510 or a 510 to Ego ... i think even an ego to ego (which will screw down on both the 510 and ego).

The problem with my Ody clone was that it was extremely heavy ... and it only had 4 rows of threads. As you can imagine, 4 threads doesn't exactly make the device very secure into the 510. So eventually the threads were eating away, along with starting to strip my Vamo and CCTS 510 threads. (chome plated brass = brass 510 = easier to strip)

Now on stainless devices ... the threads should hold up more. But even then I wouldn't trust those 4 dang rows of threads on such a top heavy atty.
