Itaste VTR Ohms meter playing up

All i seem to be having at the moment is problem after problem. Anyway, had the itaste vtr and iclear 30s for about 6 days and my ohms meter is going all over the place. one minute it will be saying 2.3 then it will shoot up to 4.4 then to 2.9. any ideas why? and when i'm trying to fire it it'll be fine for a couple hits but then the hit light stays solid instead of fading for about 5/6 seconds.

Hmmm, sounds like a lemon. You may need to get that replaced What attys are you using? I use 2.5ohm attys in my Davide tanks, and my VTR has the correct ohms reading! My VTR is set to 4.2v/5watts! What about yours?

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere. First thing I would do is try another coil head in your iClear30 and see if the problem goes away.

I have the same problem, I gave up trying to fix it. Changed atty heads on the 30S and used my own rba's to no avail. My fix was to switch to VV mode, not my preferred setting with a VV/VW setup. The device itself is a brick and has survived many nights with whiskey fingers so I don't mind not having the VW on that one in particular.
Edit: I would send it back if the LED stays lit instead of fading. Mine never has that particular issue.

I got one with the spinny 510 connector. I warned my B&M about this problem before I bought it, and sure enough, it gives me erroneous readings. It is going back today. I did notice that it effects vaping in both VV and VW modes. I will want the non spinning version as a replacement or a refund.
