So I am running the iTaste VTR with a Kanger Nano at 15 watts on the .5ohm coil in the tank and it hits like a champ. Although sometimes (doesnt happen too often) ill start hitting it, then it just stops hitting the the green light stays on for about 5 seconds and there is nothing i can do until it shuts off. I read everywhere that if it is a red light that stays on that means that the VTR detected a short circuit, but not a green light.

any thoughts?

When you said it stops hitting have you drawn over 10 secs? Have you cleaned the connection? Does yours have the under tank wheel that spins or is it the later fixed wheel version? Does it show any codes on the screen when it happens?

All these questions referring to the higher ohm coil.

I followed some sub-ohming on the ECF forums when I got my VTR. One fellow was able to sub-ohm to 0.6ohm, but not with consistent firing. Here is one post I found on ECF:
It's big, shiny & heavvvvvvy. 13.5 ounces with a modest tank mounted.
Absolutely love mine. This was the next step for me after an MVP (1), which I also liked. The only real drawback is you either need to find all 21mm or thinner tanks, use the extension tube and mount on top, or cut the ring off
It'll fire down to about 0.6ohm but imo starts getting good in the 0.8-1.1ohm range (at .6 it only takes the minimum 3 volts to hit it's 5amp limit). It will work with pretty much any setup you can think of within it's 5amp limit.
I would caution to either switch it off before building an RDA/RBA or build the atomizer out off of the VTR. Haven't found anyone else on line willing to admit it, but it is possible to fry this brick if you're not careful building on it.
