Itaste vtr spinning tank connection problems. loosing current?

Hey yall...

I have an itaste VTR i got on ebay for next to nothing with a kayfun. I really got it because I wanted 15 watts for my nautilus at the time.

It already had the ring dremeled off and for 40$ with the kayfun I couldnt not buy it.

It came with the case but no instructions... The spinning connector where the tank sits always looses connection. I have to spin it a little and I can vape again.

It actually isnt that big of a deal. Its great for my nautilus and kayfun around the house.

Is this a thing with the itaste VTR? I am thinking about finding a way to solder it in place or something. I dont use it much, but would like it up and running well in case I decide to gift it to someone.

Yeah this is a pretty common issue with the VTR's. The newer versions have an upgraded wheel that is fixed and does not spin. It can mess with your ohm readings too.

No. No fix that I know of. You have a REALLY early version of the Vtr. They fixed that issue pretty quickly after release.

Yeah, it's a very old issue that was corrected by Innokin within two months of it's release in September 2013. See these posts here:
