I now use a vtr by itaste what sub ohm tank would go best with it and why?

Unfortunately, you can't sub-ohm on the VTR.

You could use a Subtank 1.2ohm if it fits? Maybe?

VTR does 1.0ohm and above according to the user manual.

Ordinary regulated (VV/VW) mods (not high wattage mods) have amp limits and protected circuitry which prevent them from firing a coil less than 1.0 ohm.

To sub-ohm, you'll need either a high wattage mod (recommended) or a mechanical mod.

With the VTR, I can choose either VV or VW mode and go to 6v or 15w max respectively. If I choose VW mode and 15 watts, It would adjust the voltage to give me 15 watts. If I have a 2.0 ohm coil and choose VV and crank it 6v, wouldn't I then be getting 18 watts?

A 2.0 ohm coil using 6 volts does indeed fire that coil at 18 watts.

Any two known factors can be used to find a third factor using an Ohm's Law calculator or the Ohm's Law triangle.

You can't subohm with the VTR, but it is a great device otherwise. I use mine daily.

Thanks for the confirmation. I'm finally understanding the basic science behind it. But I think the VTR has a device limit of 15w so I wouldn't get the full 18
