Big jump for me too! Was with a 3.7v unregulated ego since I joined and really started to like the fresh off the charger hit of 4.2v. Was only getting that for a few minutes.

Apparently I'm a 8-8.5watt vapor. Nice upgrade. Nice having the OHM checker altho almost every Boge has been 2.2 since I've started using them.

Had a wacky Boge that varied from 2.2 to 3+ while vaping and set with the watts mode, didn't have a bad vape.

I'd like if they came out with a shorter model with much shorter charge time.

I remember the day I bought my set up at the Mall Kiosk. Pure impulse. Paid way too much, for a stubby eGo, disposable clearo, menthol juice and a charging cable. But I went from 10-15/day to 1-3/day. Yes I still have a stinky now and again. But I had most of a carton and I am too cheap to throw them out or give them away. Still looking for that magic juice.

Anyway I love the VV 3.

I got my iTaste vv3 last week, discovered I *hated* those top-coil iClear16's that came with it, and Friday got a Kanger T3S -- with that clearo, this iTaste is FANTASTIC!! I started out just a few weeks ago with an eRoll, which was perfect for me to begin, because the familiar size-shape was *just right* -- and I managed to go from 13-15 cigs a day down to 2, then 1, and this past Friday, ZERO, using the eRoll -- but now, compared to this iTaste, that eRoll tastes pretty anemic. I'm not sure I could have done it without it, though, I was so attached to the way a cigarette felt in my hand.

Later I'm sure I'll want to get into all that rebuilding stuff, though right now, I really haven't got a clue how to begin -- but I was really pleased when someone here informed me that the coil in the T3S was rebuildable -- and the only reason I got it was because it was the only thing at the B&M that was both bottom-coil and affordable. I'm getting an ARO Pyrex this week, whenever it comes in the mail, and just today I was VERY pleased when someone told me that the coils in those AROs are the same as the coils used in this T3S. Could not have planned it better -- just pure serendipity. :D

I'm using evods, but I have 2 Pyrex clearos on the way.

I can't wait for mine! I've already got the cinnamon redhot and clove, ready to make my own "teaberry" flavor. Being able to do that was the main reason I got interested in getting something beyond the eRoll; when I discovered you couldn't put redhot (or clove, apparently) into plastic tanks, I was just, "I gotta fix that, pronto!" :D I've discovered, online, some great prices both on that T3S clearo and the replacement coils for it, so I'm gonna get those; it would be nice to have more than one tank, so I can still have one to vape with, while I clean and let-dry the other, and until I actually know what the heck rebuilding a coil really means, I figure I ought to have some spares, *just in case*. Plus they're the same coils for that pyrex one I'm getting, so that was really a stroke of good luck! :D

Wow, I had basically the same experience, and it almost turned me off to the whole thing. I started with the iTaste vv 3 with iClears16s. I found it VERY hot and burning, no matter how carefully I vaped, or lowered the voltage. I'm glad I stuck with it. I got an Aspire bottom coil, a Kanger Evod, and a Kanger T3S (all bottom coils). All three of them are much cooler and now I can at least use it.

Yeah, that was awful -- it completely destroyed the taste of my favorite e-juice Virginia, a very smooth and delicate tobacco, it made it taste like burnt celery! Yech!!! I was so peeved that I spent the extra for the full kit, I should have gone cheap and gotten the express kit, since I had to buy a clearo anyway just to use it, and now have to buy others so it's not the only one I have that's usable. :grr: And yep, it's a lot cooler, though I have the iTaste currently set a 8.5w, and the Virginia tastes just fine, and delivers a terrific throat hit at that setting.

I'm very happy with the iTaste + T3S. :thumb:
