the 510 connector has just fallen out of the main unit. turns out it was only connected by a red wire being soldered to the bottom. ive pushed it back in but in the process of trying to unscrew the ce6 i had attached , the wire has snapped off. ive tried just touching the end ( i dont know anything about electricals) to the piece within the solder but its not worked. ive now tried to remove the soldering to expose were the wire should make contect with the connector but i can get rid of it all.

i cant believe there was nothing physically holding the 510 connector in place. to say im p*%£$ is an understatement . useless piece of junk. now i have nothing to vape till the end of the month.

anyones have any idea of a solution? or does it sound like its damaged on the internal wiring too now?

I almost had a similar catastrophe. I put the pen cap on and I ended up pulling the whole top of the connector assembly out! Fortunately, I didn't yank out any wires and was able to put it back together. The red wire should go to the center (positive) pin of the connector. Often, the negative just connects directly to the body when it's press-fitted in. I didn't really pay attention to what was what when mine was apart but I've built enough mods to take an educated guess. Hopefully there's someone else out there who has pulled one apart.
