So here i was sitting enjoying my evod on the iTaste VV V3 then all of a sudden it would not fire (fully charged battery)....nit to worry it was just a simple case of plugging it back in.....wrong....

When i plug it into a power source i get the normal light show, then the screen flashes three 8's and goes to a code of 1 E.1 and flashes red, orange and green twice and repeats the process.....so curious...is this a error code meaning put to one side and try again? Contact the vendor as something went reallllllly wrong? has anyone come across this code?

What is the ohm reading of the unit?
If no reading, or it varies and won't give an accurate one....
The center pin could be pushed down and not making a connection. Try pry it up slightly with a needle / pine / steak knife tip / anything that will fit and get a good angle. You just want to slightly life it up. Many times the atomizer / clearo / carto / whatever your using can push the center pin of the unit down and it will have trouble making a connection. The pry method will work as a temporary fix, there's more permanent solutions once you isolate if if this is the problem.

i just tried that and all i get now is the red, amber green light show, then the display reads "888" followed bye 1 E.1 then flashes red, amber, and green three times, and repeats the flashing as it did before. I cannot power it up when it is not in the power supply, but then on the same hand i get that error code sequence when i do plug it in. I was thinking about getting the itaste 134 (yeah i know...my first really expensive pv since i started lol) but now......not really to sure to be honest

Sounds like a defective iTaste Wolfe :( Mine has behaved flawlessly , for the past 2 months, no matter what clearomizer I have put on it? Never had the problem, so sorry but I can't help.

actually it was a lot of help :D i have been emailing back and forth with the vendor who told me to toss the itaste and then gave me a credit so i could get the evic.....wow......2.2 ohm kanger protank with 7.7 watts and my root beer? Ok now i ~finally~ see what this sweet spot everyone talks about is (only took how long? ~paw face~)

Worlking on getting the zmax v2 (for $40 brand new from vendor? why not) and i think it takes flat top batteries....a new charger then wooohooo hello to VW :D

I'm here, when I'm here
I have 2 v3's. One will last about 7 hours. The other I'd be lucky if I get 4 hours. Was very disappointed. I use them for back ups to my MVP. I sent the 4 hour one back to where I bought it from for them to "check it out". "We couldn't find anything wrong with it." Like I didn't see that coming. :(

Same here ...... 'it worked ALL DAY for me", said the kind man who grabbed my cash. Yea right. In pass-through it gets hot when charging OR it shows a full charge when it is 'dead'. It also "times out" at between 4 and 5 seconds on some 'hits' and at the proper time on others; and he says, "normal". It's an expensive 'ohm meter' -- no more in my very new and very biased opinion.

Everyone makes a 'dud' now and then; I got the 'dud'.............. and it was from one of "the elite" vendors 'you know where'.:glare: (Sour grapes - I know.)

GOOD VENDOR took care of his customer WolfeReign. Fine job.:)

Senile Old Man Don ..........;)
