Itaste VV3.0 and a blinking green light

Hi all,

I've had my itaste since January with no issues, until now. I've read through forums and watched the itaste video and I'm coming up with nothing, so here I am asking for help.

I got a new charging cord, and it charged wonderfully. NOW, however, I'm having a blinking (like 8 to 10 times) green light off and on. It will be green, vaping along and then it will blink 8 to 10 times while green and continue to vape. I have reset it, and I've replaced the clearomizer and the coil. I also cleaned out the contact part of the battery.

So, what does this mean?

Thanks
Punky

I think it happens if you take a very long draw on it/keep the button pressed down - something like 10 seconds and it will blink 10 times. Could that be the problem ? I've also had mine since January and it happened to me for the first time a few weeks ago so I make sure I take my finger off the button within about 8 seconds.

Edited to add : Beaten to it by mountaingal :)

There have been several reports of this happening and mine does it too. And I can't handle more than a 3-4 second vape, so it's not hitting the cut-off.
It's been happening almost since I've bought it, but I just wait until it stops and continue to vape, no problems.

I really wish it was only the cut-off because then I'd be able to at least finish my vape, but it's nearer the beginning.

It could be thermal warning (don't know if the VV has this feature), if your coil is getting to hot it may be a warning. I had the same thing happen to me a while back, I cannot recall what I did to fix it.

What mode are you running, vv or vw? Try adjusting down first, then up, switch modes
What resistance is your coil? You may be hitting the amp limit of the switch
What topper are you using? Does it perform on a different battery?

    Is your vape hot?

Lol, I run a 2.0 OHM carto @ 7watts. Usually happens within the first 2-3seconds of the vape. Always the same battery out of the 2 I have. My other one never does it set up the same way.
I like the product, just a glitch I guess. Looks like 99% of them work fine...
