I'm currently using an itaste vv v.3 with an iclearx.1 tank. When I try and vape it I can hear the connection being made but it produce a very minimal amount of smoke. Just barely enough to even see. I tried moving the center pin and nothing happened. However when I check the ohms and voltage it tells me its taking 9.2 ohms. I don't ever remember it being that high so maybe that's my issue but im not sure please help.

Sounds like one of the dual coils in the coil head pop loose. When running dual coils, each coil must be roughly double of the targeted resistance. Two 9 ohm coils should have a total resistance of around 1.8 I think. Change the coil head.

Actually, resistance in a parallel circuit is half of the parallel coils, so 9 ohm coils would be 4.5 total resistance. I've never seen or heard of a 9 ohm coil though. Its more likely they're 3 or 4 ohm coils, for 1.5-2 ohms total.

With 9 ohms, you've got a near open in the circuit and you have to isolate whether its the topper or the iTaste. Innokins have crappy center pins that get pushed down easily. Us MVP users have to pull them up all the time.

You said you moved the pin around, but did you pull it up significantly? Once you have, remember not crank down on the tank to push it back down. Just snug is enough.
Your head could be loose in the base of tank. If you have any spare heads, see if they're the same reading. if so, its your Itaste pin, which is either dirty or just pushed down too far.

Hope that helps.

Ah. Thanks! This is why I haven't tried any dual or parallel coils on my RBA's and RDA's. Even in my clearos though, I haven't found the benefit to be worth the additional cost of dual coils and the amount of juice they go through.

More than likely its your Clearo coils touching each other or some other metal part of the tank. If you can, take it a part so you can se the coils, make sure they are clear of each other and the sides of the tank, or get some new coils/wicks for the tank. More than likely if the Itaste is reading ohms it is functioning, so IMO its your atomizer. Btw..., I am speaking from experience this happened to me when I was using stock coils.
