Just wondering while I am counting the days until my new best friend arrive's at my doorstep.

1. What is the recomended size type wick for Ithaka and where is the best place to get it. I am good for wire right now but am a little nervous about wick because from what i see it willuse twice as much and depending how u twist it up twice as much wire. don't get me wrong i cant wait to try the Ithaka but i see cov is out of wick and in my opion i am a little dissapponited with the 3.5mm wick. i saw bisop testing some ceramic wick and he said he might have somthing even better cant wait to see it.

My recommendations are to have lots of wick and wire to try out all the great new ways will have to test the Ithaka :vapor:

Adam, my recommendations are:
1. 3mm or 2,5mm wick. If you have the 3,5mm wick then unreel one or 2 strands from it. The way you can do it is on my latest videos
2. The best and safest wick is the wick that Bruce and Vasilis sells

Soon you will have the best machine in your hands, so you can try any combination you like:)

I am just worried about the wick not being in stock that's all. It must be the juice I use but I rebuild almost every day
60/40 VG/PG Cherry Cigar

Just buy wicks now. leave them in zip locks. when they dry out my method is just boiling it and drying it in microwave is all that is needed to get them wicking good again.

OK... stupid question, how can you tell that your wick is dried out and needs to be boiled and microwaved? how long do you boil it and how long do you microwave?

I use an alternative method that works fine for me:

I wet the wick with water and then put it directly on flame of gas stove until is dries and becomes red, repeat the process a couple of times.
