Here it is a revised way of making twisted coils. In this video I show you how to make a simple twist quad coil using 32 and 34 gauge kanthol wires. Ohmed out each coil at 1.3 on multi meter then minus .1 for internal resistance equals together .64 ohms.
the way i understand it, its a way of getting low resistance with thin wires. back when 32g was very popular, many folks likely stocked up (i know i did), but now that 28g and lower is preferred, its tough to find a use for the 32.
actually i was talking about the the wick and coil being crossed, one laying over top the other, not the twisted wire. i should have stated my first question differently. thanks for the reply though!
