So I decided to make the leap from analogs to an e-cig. It was not supposed to be here until Monday, but I just checked the tracking info, and it left the local post office for delivery this morning!

I am so excited to think that maybe, just maybe the pack of analogs I bought yesterday will be my last.

Hey, I'm new to this world too. I was SO excited waiting for my first e cig to arrive. It's been two weeks and I've kicked the analogs completely. Now I've just upgraded to a Riva 510, and I'm in love with it.
Only bad thing I'll say is... It's costing me so much money, trying everything out! I want just about every flavour of juice going. Ah well I'm sure in the long term I'll save some money somewhere :s it is worth it though to get off the real cigs.

Congrats! Gosh, that's exciting. Fun weekend ahead! Let us know how it's going. Don't be too hard on yourself if you want a cig. In short order they'll taste so nasty you'll wonder how you ever smoked. Good luck on your vaping journey.

PS. You're about to detox from 4,000 chemicals in cigarettes. Drink LOTS of water because vaping dehydrates you and the water will escort the toxins from cigs out of your body faster.

Heh, I'm in the same boat - been waiting since last Friday to receive my starter kit. It FINALLY arrived today just after noon, and I haven't rolled a ... since. Screw gum and patches, I need the smoking experience. By the way, good advice Boodle, looking forward to getting the tar and chemicals out of my system, might even get a sense of smell again

Congratulations on your decision to quit smoking. I smoked for over 50 years and I've been vaping for almost two years now. There is a learning curve but well worth it. Good luck and keep us posted on your journey!

So I am now on day 2 of vaping and I'm not quite sure what to say. 18 hours since my last analog and it's AMAZING. Going to have to go through a bunch of flavors to find what's right for me still but I couldn't be happier!!!

It will be lots of fun and you will be TOTALLY amazed at how easy
it will be to get off the analogs.
I suggest you buy juice, in small bottles, from different vendors and
find out what appeals to you.
And remember that your taste WILL CHANGE along the way.

BTW, Do they still put those "death cards" - you know - those pictures of black lungs and other ugly PSA announcements inside packs of cigarettes up there in BC? Hang some of those on the wall for a reminder.
