Thanks so much to domino38 for nominating me for Thyestean's "Win My Contest Prize Contest"!

Thank you, also to everyone who answered my first question. Here's where we're at:

After so many good reviews, I showed my husband (this is really more for him) a YouTube video of the eGo. I first went poking around Totally Wicked's site and scared myself by scrolling down to the Screwdriver! Yikes!

I explained the battery life and how it took manual batteries and 3 part systems for some to really quit analogs. We have to be honest with ourselves, however. My husband (and I) actually like our Green Smoke E9s and he believes something like the eGo would be a novelty to him and he would just keep smoking analogs.

We are almost resigned to packing up our V4L kits because: 1. We can't take the flavors 2. The draw is all air-y.

The Green Smoke E9 and carto are air-tight. What I don't know is if it's the V4L cartos that are not sealed - or if it's the KR808 batt thread.

Seriously, all our problems would be non-existant if Green Smoke just made higher nic cartos and some with VG. Heck, we'd even pay the higher price just to avoid all this drama!

I want to just order more E9 batteries (to combat their puny lifespan) and cartos from e-cig.com in their menthol (which may suck) and some blank ones to try the elevendy-million menthol recommendations I've gotten from the threads (Halo, Parked's from dietSMOKE, Nhaler, AltSmoke, PureSmoker Cash, LiquidExpress Cool Rush, Tasy Vapor - aaaaaaarhrhrhghghghgh!). Is there a current menthol poll on here I'm missing?

Does anyone actually get anything from e-cig.com? Is there a more reputable E9 carto supplier? Should I hang on to my V4L batteries instead because they are more represented and it's just the V4L cartos that are air-y?

My head is exploding! I want to cry... I need a smoke. Heh.

Take some silicone sealer and close one or two of the little holes on the battery threads with the silicone. Let it dry. Airy problem solved. There are a lot of people find the battery to airy and have done this , me included.
As for the flavors, not much to be done but fill cartomizers yourself. Vapor nine has the best blank cartomizers to fit your batteries, they have a menthol but I dont use menthol so I cant help you with that one.
Lecig.com also sells blank empty cartomizers for the green smoke , they are under the 0 mg icon.
They have them filled too but only up to 16 mg so no help for you there,

So I've been threatened with a hand slap for even THINKING about buying from E-Cig.com! LOL! I've read good things about LeCig.com - so maybe they are the answer.

This quote from JimPRN (2-23-2010 General E-Smoking Discussion/Model Specific Discussion/KR808D-1/GreenSmoke) is what I'm talking about:

"First, the leCig D-2 and Green Smoke cartomizers do have the same threads and they are interchangeable in that respect. In fact, the LeCig D-2 cartos will work with the Green Smoke batteries. However, without modifications, the Green Smoke cartos will not work on the LeCig USB pass-through (or batteries if they are identical to the pass-through). The problem lies in the way the two systems have the air vents designed. The LeCig D-2 cartos have notches in their cartos to allow air flow. The Green Smoke cartos have no air vents and are pretty much air tight where they connect to the battery. The Green Smokes air vents are located at the tip of the battery by the LED."

I don't want to have to fix something I just bought brand new (V4L air-y KR808D-1s) - If I can just send them back and get a refund.

We like the GS E9s for the air-tight factor. Although, I was going to buy extra (cheaper) batts from LeCig and TRY (don't hit me!) their pre-filled menthol 24 mg cartos (they show up in the kit area, not the main cart area) AND get empty carts (hidden in the 0 mg area, thank you Mini_Art!) from them to try some of the liquids recommended for menthol. BUT I wonder if the LeCig air vents are going to be all air-y anyway and I'll be back at square one.

Do eSmoke.net cartos fit E9s? Which batt types are Pro or Sensation from them?

I know you just want to throw 501 and J108A disposables at me - but will they be air-y, too? How huge are they? I am only a few days away from 30 days on my EXPENSIVE GS kit that we are AFRAID to return because it's the only thing we have that we sort of like. My husband is doing half analog and half vape with the 16 mg. For me, I smoke them like a cigar and just roll the vapor around in my mouth - to avoid the PG lung burn until I can get VG. Okay, now I'm embarrased by how sad that sounds.

My husband quit for two years! We were saving for our house and it was the price of cigs (BACK THEN!) that motivated him. He got the laser zaps which actually took away the physical withdrawls, but did nothing for the habit. He paid so much for the treatment he said he was sure as hell going to stay quit and he struggled through it. I was so proud and told him so often over the two years. Then my (now 2 yr. old) son was born (we never smoke in the house OR car OR let him SEE us smoke OR vape - so relax) and my husband works out of the house, so he's home with him AND running a business AND at the time he was filling in for a local gov. position (don't ask, it was a little slice of hell) AND VP-ing on our subdivision board (second helping of hell which is also over now)... and the nicotine fairy found him again! How could she not? He was an easy target. Can I just say I hate that b*tch?!

heather...any chance you guys are in lower Michigan?...or what part..
if it's close enough..I've got an eGo, some 510s, cartos from a different company, hell even a mod that I could show you guys and you could try and see what you all like best..
theres a whole bunch of different options available...including mixing kits...(my partial favorite right now is using a vapornine cartomizer (it's an 808 model like V4L) on an eGo battery (with an adapter to make the 510 battery to 808 connection) and that adapter you can adjust the airyness of the draw on....that's a battery that lasts like 10 hours so that and 2 cartos pretty much lasts me all day..

Anyway I'm in toledo and treck up to Detroit, royal oak, or ann arbor on a fairly regular basis

the basic 510 ecig is small and light. However the battery has a short life span and you will recharge often.
You can refill your greensmoke cartridges too. Just get some juice in a higher mg nic and refill them . I had a greensmoke kit and the lecig blanks work find on the bats.
This way you can keep what you have, order some blanks and go with some higher nic juice.
doesnt cost much to try it.
