It's Christmas: What are you Thankful for?

Next to Halloween, this is my favorite time of year. The only thing I hate about this season is the marketing. This is a time when we should give without expecting to receive. Although I am not religious, I am spiritual. My question is, what are you thankful for and why? My list is at follows in no particular order, but is not limited to:

My husband: he excepts me for who and what I am
My family: they never judge me
My dogs and cats: no matter what, they are always happy to see me when I come home
My students: they always seem to educate me...even though I am the educator

May peace and plenty be the first to lift the latch on your door, and happiness be guided to your home by the candle of Christmas.

I'm thankful for the girl I've been with for about 7 months now. So far she can deal with my insanity. And I'll say in advance that I'm thankful for my health because I'm waiting for some test results from the doctor. Once I can stop worrying about that I'll be able to enjoy the Holidays.

Glad you have found a great girl. Good luck with the lab reports, I truly hope all turns out okay. I really do understand what it is like to wait for the "news" from the docs. I hope the news is good for you BMB. In the meantime, have a Merry Christmas or Happy Holiday .

getting off tobacco (for the most part, i still enjoy cigs here&there)
being engaged. i honestly thought i'd die a lonely virgin.
finally having a good relationship with my parents. unfortunately it took some bad circumstances but i finally feel like i have a healthy, adult relationship with them.
