To be honest, I do not know. I would suspect that with all the work they put into these that they would be regulated at 3.3 in stead of unregulated. I will check into it and see!
Well according to Oakley it is 3-4.2v or regulated at 3.7v. I havene't been able to verify that yet.

AFAIK - ego types are knocked off but AFAIK no other manufacturer has gotten hold of the chipset that regulates at 3.3 or does dual voltage on the newer joyetech pass throughs....It may have something to do with joyetech being fairly powerful and threatening in Chinese courts if THAT part of the ego series is copied...but not sure...seems liek it could be easily reverse engineered. Anyone is welcome to correct me if I am wrong...
Please understand that the Oakley rep answered me directly that these are 3.7v, as I asked that specifically. Chris or Max may have gotten other info...but I will check later when they come in for sure and throw a meter on them...

Thanks Danno! I know I'm sounding picky, but I have lung issues and can't vape at 3.7v for long without getting breathless.
NO I Understand there can be something very pleasant about a 3.3v vape...otherwise the ego series wouldn't have gotten as ubiquitous as it is. Our friend BR945 would nod his head to this...I wonder if anyone has heard anything from Billy (br945)?

Yeah, I was nicely surprised when I went back to 3.3v - most of my juices taste a lot better at this low voltage. I had actually forgotten how good they were. This may not apply to more complex juices, but my simple fruity ones are really tasty at 3.3v. Lesser hits, but better tasting - I'll take it!
At 3.3v using a 2.2Ω coil... you get 4.95w
You can get about the same power level if using 3.7v with a 2.8Ω coil...
