12 hours almost to the dot of no smoking at all. While I went from 2 packs a day to 10 smokes a day before the 510 got here, It's been a LOT easier with it. Funny enough, I tried the marlboro carts and they tasted sweet and yucky to me. The cappachino's are far more satisfying to calm the urge, maybe due to having a heavier flavor? I dunno. I do know that before I opened the cappichinos and was only trying the marlboro flavor, I felt terrible. Tired. Slightly sick. Throat hurt. (Wierd since I was smoking Camels for 15 years) I almost gave up, thank goodness the other unit was charged and I tried a cappichino.
I'm only 2 flavors into the 8 I bought and already loving this thing.
Today I'm going to order my mom a set for Xmas as me and her were the only 2 smokers left in our family =/, minus the nasty Marlboro carts *shudder

Congrats! The sore throat is normal, mine went away after a week. If it doesn't you may have a sensitivity to PG, so give it a little time before you give up and look into vg juice.

The tired and not feeling well is also totally normal, it could be one of a couple things. Either you need to lower your nicotine or more likely you are missing everything else in cigs. Many on here have speculated that we are not only addicted to nicotine but some of the other 4000+ chemicals in cigs. When I first started vaping I felt this way even though I was still smoking, again it went away for after a week or so. So with any minor problems give it a little time.

Too bad about the marlb carts, but a good thing you have other flavors. May want to try them after a week, I find I don't like some flavors initially, then try them again and yum. You'll also start getting your tastebuds back now that your not smoking.

Glad it's working for you! :)

Way to go!
My first experience w ecigs was with the marlboro cartridge, too...over 4 months ago, now. I thought it tasted great, was wonderful, smooth, and clean - and I never smoked again. Funny...I now think those cartridges are just plain icky.
Its seems a great many people get to feeling tired and sick for a couple of days....kinda like smokers flu (a well established response to quiting smoking). I did not have any such response, however, I am the only person that I know personally that did not. I did have horrible insomnia, though. Other than that ... I just felt "more better" every day!!!
Again....congratulations!!!

Thanks!! 3 full days into no smoking now! YAYAYAY. I cannot believe a week ago I'da never thought I'd be not smoking. I guess it really IS true when you're ready, you're ready. I'da never EVER chosen to stop during XMas season with any prior thought, can crap get anymore stressful?!
More updates!
I've found if I drip some Almond Joys into the Marlbro carts they're doable for me. It's still the flavor somehow....I'm craving things nutty tasting?! Go figure.
I'm also not so much into the fruity things, the cappichino and almond Joys are making this happen for me atm. Will probably give most the fruits to my mom after I give her a 510 for XMas.
True about the taste thing...I've been addicted to Dt Coke for almost as long as smokes and now I'm finding I don't like the TASTE of Dt Coke....hmmmm....heck if I know. And the smells....my poor dog. I cannot stand to smell him atm, even with a bath!
Hardest part atm is beer drinking. Me and my husband are avid beer drinkers and I really REALLY miss smoking with a beer but I'm vaping like a fool, going through batterys left and right when drinking but...it's still miles above lighting up anything else.
Thanks again all, I can't say that enough!
My biggest support IRL is my sister and she's been going through some rough stuff this week. Dealing with her maybe having a tumor/going blind AND stopping smoking AND having 3 kids 8-16 to put XMas on for....it's been a hellova week.
