my grand finally arrived! Black wrinkle, and long story short, I love it. The flavor is indescribable. And all of this with a cheap 510 atty. My question is, how do I properly squonk? It seems intangible. The best way I can describe it is after I squonk, it makes the same slight gurgle noise as a tank with condensation in the drip tip. Not a full blown gurgle, but reduced vapor nonetheless. After ten or so puffs, I get two amazing drags before I get a slight dry hit taste, back to gurgle. Am I over squonking?

You might be flooding. I was never able to get the hang of using an atty because I was a flooder (back on an eGo). That is why I got a REO to begin with. I used mine with cartos until I got an RM2 a few months ago. With a carto, I'd push the bottle and suck up through the drip tip until I heard a gurgle, then I'd hold the button for half a second to heat it up, take 2 long draws, stop and then take about 2 more and then squonk again. Now I'm doing the exact same thing with the RM2.

It's really just practice. The two amazing drags you get now will become all amazing, and you won't get the dry hit taste eventually because you'll instinctively know when to squonk.

Blind Squonk is the technique your looking for. Without pressing the fire button draw air through the drip tip while you squonk, right before the gurgle starts you should feel a slight change in the pressure of the draw. Stop there and you should get a good vape with little or no juice in the well.

You're right! I was over squonking and now I'm getting way better taste and vapor!

What is a squonk

A squonk is a squeeze on the bottle to push ejuice up to your atomizer. The pressure from the squeeze forces the juice up to wet the wick and coil. Its dripping without the hassle of dripping.
