It does take some time to get it down but I'm trying my best and squonking like a mad man possessed. 
I enjoy my Iken 510 cartos. That said, I like them more when I prime them correcty first, as opposed to getting that first burn't taste when changing.
I have found that if I do flood my carto, if I do an easy draw with out a button puch and rotate the carto 360 degrees while doing it, the carto clears faster and draws nicely.
I Have Squonked ! Just got my 1st REO mini today, tried to 'prime, listen and draw' and flooded out atty. With a full bottle I gave the second atty a nudge and it works great ! Time will tell, but far superior to my old eGo ! Keep the threads coming 'cause old dogs like me do have trouble learning new tricks ! LOL
Congrats new Reonaut! Yes, with a full bottle it won't take much of a squonk to get the juice where it needs to be! You will be a pro at it soon!
IF you flood an atty you can vape through it or take it off and blow some of the juice out into a paper towel. You can also blow into it while it is on and the juice will go into the catch cup. If you draw lightly it won't suck up all the juice at once. Just something I learned at first when I flooded all the time!
Almost a month to the day, I have finally got this squonking thing down pat.............I think. 
And yes, I just knocked on wood about a dozen times to keep from jinxing myself.

I'm sure someone else has discovered this; I have to blind/ deaf squonk as my eyes are on the road and the 500 hp Detroit Diesel / 18 wheels make too much noise to be listening for a 'faint gurgle'. I have foung that if I should over-squonk a little I can just lightly blow into the drip-tip, just enough to semi-clear the atty, and then fire away with another great vape ! Thank you Jedi Squonk Master for such a cool little device !
Its a very broad artform in which the PG/VG ratio and amount of liquid in the bottle determines pressure applied. And I had grasped it very easily using only 100% VG. But when my vendor wouldn't take any more orders and I had to go elsewhere for a while I learned the squonk is also subjective. Its something I feel and not see. Happy vape pig am I ....
