My SS Provari arrived yesterday, so I wanted to post some pictures and give my first impressions.

While I was impatiently waiting for my new Provari, I checked on the USPS tracking page and it said it had been delivered and signed by me, but that wasn't the case. I never signed for anything... but sure enough, it was there. I carefully opened the package and was pleasantly surprised to find that the polished stainless steel was exactly as I had hoped: flawless. Definitely worth the wait!

I really, really like the weight of it. It's like a little tank, feels very sturdy and very high quality. I was impressed with vapor production, even though I only had my Vivi Nova on me, since it was delivered at work. The menu is easy to navigate and the red LED looks fantastic. It's not too bright for me, it's just right.

What I don't like is that it doesn't feel comfortable in my hand in 18350 or 18490 mode. It's too short for me. I don't think I have abnormally large hands for a girl either lol, so I would be surprised if others haven't felt this way. Maybe it's just a matter of getting used to it. I won't know until time goes on. As we discussed in a previous thread of mine, the Tatroe rings don't match, since they're more of a brushed metal. I don't like that they don't match, but yet it only feels comfortable for me in 18650 mode. It doesn't look as bad to me when I use one Tatroe and the 18490 end cap, but still a little "off". However, I went back and looked at the full size Provari and I still like the tear drops better. If they made a polished Tatroe, I would be totally satisfied. Let me know what YOU think!

Congratulations, she is a beauty, I love that slick feeling of the stainless.I'm luckier in my likes for the smaller form factor either in 350 or 490 mode.
The tatroe not matching I think is what drives many of us to buy the kir fanis or cigulum compendum accessories from overseas, for now I will be happy to get my tatroes and loki rings in so the bigger tanks don't look so ridiculous on my ProVaris

Congratz! Now the fun begins. I like the polished ProVari's too. Would have been my first purchase if they were in stock. I'm for keeping the polished look all the way through. I tend to keep my mini at 189350 size and my regular size in 18650 using the matching polished cap. I think the only people that make polished extensions is Kir fanis and they are always out of stock.

I think it would be a lot easier to polish the Tatroe rings yourself than it would be to get a hold of the polished Kir Fanis rings.

Getting them to a mirror finish wouldn't be too bad at all. I would actually like a polished mini with a couple of polished Tatroe rings to go with it :)

I was actually going to ask if anyone had tried to polish a Tatroe ring. I got 2, so I can always experiment with one of them.

Although my Tatroe ring was very close in color I did polish it and polish it and polish it and it now is almost an identical match to the body. It looks good on the black mini too with the polished SS extension cap

It's funny how we are all different. I don't have particularly small hands, but my full-size SS feels too big for me.

Man... they didn't have the polished mini when I ordered mine or that's what I would have gotten!! That's a beauty:). I just like the teardrop design best... but I agree, I like the 13650 size best too. Although, the mini feels just fine, I think it's the weight balance... with a tank at the top, the mini feels top heavy to me. That could also be because I have a preference for huge tanks:p.

Yay! Thanks, I was waiting for the initiation to begin haha.

I don't have small hands either, but I didn't think my hands were abnormally large either haha. I think it's because I was using a 1300 mah Vision Spinner for a while and they are longer than the Provari mini in the smaller battery modes. I do believe I am already getting used to it. I used my Provari all day yesterday and, I admit, I really love it. The 18650 finally needed a charge after a day and a half of continuous use, so I popped a 18490 in and it doesn't feel as weird to me as it did Friday when I tried it, so that's good news.

Thanks, it really is a beauty. I waited about 2 months for them to get the polished ones in stock. I did consider giving up and ordering a black mini, but I just couldn't do it. It had to be the polished one! My tanks aren't particularly heavy or large, so it hasn't seemed top heavy to me. I like the teardrop design very much too.

Awesome. What did you use? I'm going to the hardware store to pick up some Naolox and metal polish today, so any tips would be great. Thanks!
